  2. It takes on average 250,000 – 1 million years for a light to be created inside the sun and for it to escape the sun. Then it takes about 8 minutes to get to earth.

    So when you go outside today to feel the sun, remember that the sunlight warmth you feel was created hundreds of thousands years ago, you’re only getting it now
